honesty in art
I have always considered myself a folk artist at heart. While my work may take many forms—from paintings of the male figure to landscapes, coastal scenes, and mixed media pieces—it is rooted in a simple belief: art should make people feel something.
I want viewers to pause, reflect, and perhaps recognize something of themselves within the work. If a painting sparks a memory, evokes an emotion, or creates a moment of connection, then it has fulfilled its purpose.
